does anybody know how to delete songs from a rewritable cd if the song is in the format "song.cda"? I am not able to delete them at all...

You would have to use CD writer software to reformat the disk. Writing to CDs isn't like writing to a hard disk or USB key, so you can't just select a file and delete it.

basically its raw PCM with a crude filesystem designed in the 80's for 80's cd players. i dont know if you would even call it a filesystem

anyway the only way to 'delete' the song is to re-rip the cd then burn everything except that one song back onto it
