    Does anyone know what the new courses in DCU will be this year?(if any)

    physics with biomedical sciences - think thats a new one.

    other than that, have a peek on the prospectus on the dcu website - thats your best bet.

    I think theres some sort of Astro Physics type courses too. might not be new this year, but new anyway

    physics with astronomy? that'll have its first graduates this year. as will esh.

    OP what exactly do you want to do? its all well and good to ask about courses etc, but is there any real point in doing some things?

    would you consider other routes? if you want to be a biology teacher do a biology degree, do a hDip and go in that way?

    i know there were osme similar courses all starting together, that could be a diff 1. still first grads, thats pretty new

    i'm interested to see how they get on. them and the esh's.

    and next year there'll be the gcb's.

    ah right okay. Ye i wud like to do a biology degree. And noticed the only one in DCU is the PEB course. Which i wud luv to do but its just the points thats stoppin me.. They dont actually have a pure biology degree though.. so hopefully they do sumtime in the future...:)

    The medical mechanical engineering degree is changing it name to biomedical engineering, but not really changing..

    no but the biotechnology degree is brilliant (i'm in 3rd year of it), as is the genetics and cell biology.

    Darren101 do you do medical engineering? is there many postgrad oppertunities?
