Sorry for my 'stupid' thread but I wonder if my eyes are green or blue ? I know it's not that important but need to some your opinions ? Green or blue ? and sorry for 'wasting' your time :eek: Thanks

same as my daughter gray/green. you can see if you look at them, they are gray on the outside and as you move to the centre of the pupil they go green.

In a green eye (or a hazel one) there is a variable level of melanin, so that some of the light is absorbed by the melanin and some is scattered by the collagen. The brown layer looks yellow as it is thinner, and so the yellow and blue mix to make green.

Eyes are blue because of light scattering by collagen, except if there is too much melanin in the way, in which case they are brown. Other colours are somewhere in between to give a rainbow effect.

My boyf says mine are the same as yours and I'm not totally sure what mine are either. I'd probably say blue myself.

Thanks for the link . I am confused again,lol

My mom once said that my eyes are bluish green . A friend of mine said that the color was a mixture of blue and green. Some others said they were blue. Perhaps my eye color is a color between green and blue .. more close to grey !

I am not Irish ,BTW . Most of the people of my country have brown eyes and brunet skin (including my parents), but I look like some european people with white skin and colored eyes

they ar ethe sort of colour that will look different depending on the light and also depending on what colours of eyeshadow you wear on them.
My eyes are like that they are either green or brown depending who you ask! If I wear certain colours like purples they look brown but if I wear golds and browns they look green!
