Madrid Hotels

Hi all,

I'm looking for a hotel in Central Madrid for the beginning of June that is reasonably priced, anyone been there that can offer any tips?
I'm going around in circles on the internet, different rates, different reviews etc!

I'm just back from a 3 day stay at Roommate Laura. I would wholeheartedly recommend it as a funky little boutique hotel in a great location for a reasonable price.

Hey, has anybody got any more recommendations? Looking for somewhere clean and central (and preferably not too expensive). Have found a few places on the net but often getting conflicting reviews.

I've been to Madrid a few times and have always stayed in the same hotel, the Intur Palacio San Martin. It is located in a quiet square, 2 minutes walk to Sol and about 5 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor. I finally booked this place and I am going there next saturday. So if you want to hang on til i come back next Tuesday I can let you know what it's like!
It's the cheapest I could find that looked decent enough and that (booking.com)website gave the cheapest deal for this particular place.
It's very central and get's good enough reviews.
