The sit and go tournaments have changed and now are:
    • 9 minute duration
    • 1500 chips
    • have a 150/300 blind level
    • 10 players

The turbo sit and go have remained same as before.

    Discuss pros and cons!?

Could you post the previous levels and other facotrs before the change so its easier to analyze?

The old starting chips where 1000?

    Old stack was 1,000.
7 min levels starting at 5/10.

    Old structure was 1000, 7 mins, 5/10, 10/20, 20/40, 30/60, 50/100, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 50/500, 300/600.

The rise from 50/100 to 100/200 was particularly savage in the context of just starting with 1000 chips.

New structure looks better, arguably a little too long for me as i've checked the 'in-progress' tourneys and the odd one is going on 80 minutes with still 4 people left. Better than the total 100% crapshoot that the old structure was though.

5/10 level seems to be gone, starting at 10/20 from what I can see.

As well as the turbos that were mentioned, the old structure still seems to apply to the 'jackpot' STTs as well.

Might have a bash at iPoker again over the summer (espec if the bonus come back to like the old days), committed to OnGame at the moment bonuswise.

    AJs.

Good to see theyre listening to people. I left theyre about a week ago (GJP) because the structure was horrible and now it seems very reasonable again. Unfortunately im on Full Tilt now on good rakeback and a $600 bonus but would defo consider coming back after i finish my bonus or at least consider trying it out.

Would be interested to hear from anyone playing the new structure and do they find it similar to the old tribeca set-up?
