Hey all, quick question for you all.

I need to upgrade from 10.3.09 to 10.4 + so i can use lightroom.
On the apple site it seem to be as simple as paying the 120euros and downloading it...is it that simple? im using a mac book if that makes any difference and am pretty sure I have enough space for the upgrade

You might consider waiting a few months until 10.5 comes out - and then either get that or hopefully 10.4 would be cheaper.

Looks more like you purchase it on the website and they ship the discs and packaging to you.

Do earlier versions of the programme support 10.3.9?

Yeah - if you can do without for another while then wait for 10.5

You'd have to wait for the discs, they don't give you a option to download the whole OS

But your Macbook would have been already loaded with 10.4 when it was new wouldn't it cos 10.4 came out well before Macbooks came out?

    ...Just puzzling me?

Correct. And in fact, the MacBook won't even boot Mac OS X 10.3.9. I think he must have some other computer.
