Ok from what i can gather , there is no single chain/Branch shops of bike shops
In Ireland . most of them are independent ,

So what union to the independent bike shops come under .

when they sell you a bike , how much profit do they receive ,Where do the get there bikes and how much does the middle man/bike dealer/rep take in money

and finally why is it impossible to buy directly of the dealer or even the factory, was reading an article where a man bought a bike directly from the giant factory, of course that was in USA.

    Bike shops aren't unionised.

They get their bikes from a distributor/wholesaler (e.g. Base.ie). Some bike shops are the distributors for certain brands (e.g. Cycle Superstore - Lapierre).

The Giant factory is in Taiwan - they're not set up as a retail operation. Nor are most bike companies. Some manufacturers do sell direct (e.g. Specialized in the US) but these are usually smaller scale/custom businesses.
