could be cool, except i don't think i could handle a full season of it without weeding out players. played online for the first time yesterday, if you do remotely well people knock you off the track. it isn't mario kart

yeah noticed that myself..there was like 5 humans and the rest were ai..and the same fella kept knocking into the back of me and spinnning me off the track on purpose..formula one isnt like that

I'd be interested in this too. I havent played it online yet, coz I figured that was what people would do and didnt want the hassle. It would be nice to have a few games with people who are'nt only out to cheat.

Yeah i concur about the jealousy in online players. I'm not exactly Prost in terms of playing the game but just because i know my way around Istanbul Park and Monza etc, other people ram you or break test you and if you have damage on it's game over if you crash. F1 rules should apply. You can make one sweeping move to one side and then you shouldn't be able to cut back again just because your going to be overtaken.

I haven't played online with damage on but I can imagine its tough, I've had some very good races with collisions disabled though.

I'd love to get involved in a proper Season but the net connection where I am at the mo is way too flakey, the races would have to be on at around 2am for me to participate :P
