    Whats the cheapest way to get a component cable for me ps3. anywhere in town doing them at reasonable prices or anywhere online recommended?

    Excuse my ignorance but what cable comes with the PS3, and what specifically is the component cable for?

    you just get the std cable like with the ps2, need component or hdmi cable (depending on your tv) for high def

    i dunno bout component but maddens in cork have hdmi cables for 12 euro

    I picked up a PS2 component cable in Gamestop in Santry for €4.99 and it works perfectly with the PS3
