Bluetooth Headset & PS3

With an 18mth old in the house using the old PS3 in full blown mode will probably happen once in 16yrs .
just wondering if anyone has used a bluetooth headset on their PS3 and if anyone cold recommend a good headet, not earplugs - good decent set.

Yea, most if not nearly all bluetooth headsets work with the ps3.

i've set up the nokia bluetooth headset i use with my mobile phone. only took a couple of minutes to set up too, very simple.

I ordered one of these from play-asia. It seems very cheap for a bluetooth haedset. I'll let everybody know if it's any good when I get it.

I'm heading off to the states soon so I'll look around there for a good pair, another question though. If playing the likes of Tekken or VF5 is it possible to setup two headsets but have the sound output to both? hmm..

Ive been researching this for a while. My question is has anyone used bluetooth headphones as in instead of using ur tv for sound listen through headphones. As far as I know headsets are different and only voice chat is transmitted with the ps3. combi devices that have a mic bult in do they work.

Bluetooth can be very hit and miss when it comes to home setups , I got this ,

And to be honest its not very good , it wont stay connected to the PS3 for more than a few minutes , it will work with my phone though , but only when Im not in the house , I believe the issue with some sets is what other wireless devices you have in the house.

Depending on the set you get it may or may not work depending on what kind of interference its picking up from your broadband or any other wireless transmitters you have , such as the wireless in the PS3 , laptop , etc.

This particular one wont work when the PS3 is online , it keeps logging off. Its the same with the phone in the house , but fine when Im away from the house.

hhmmm bt can be hit and miss alright, as above. I have some motorola headphones,bluetooth like, but the sound quality is tripe because bluetooth can't transmit at a speed needed to keep everything in high quality! Ideally, a set should be release that plug into the controller and the audio out of your tv for silent play during those(these:D) late night sessions! Anyone know of a pair on the market like this?

get the jabra bt125 on amazon for around 17 including p&p. Its the headset that comes with warhawk!

They don't ship electrical things to Ireland, BArra you could try sending them an email to ask. Or just order it and see if it gets canceled, they seem to be one of the few web shops that have it in stock atm.

i answered my own question, i put in an order and it was accepted and i should have it tommorow fingers crossed

the ps3 offical headset is clasified under their gaming catagory so there is no problems with them sending it to ireland

sony head set is class i got yesterday 40e in game stop traded in my ps3 eye there **** for gameing the quality is great some idiot in HMV told me they stoped making them and i wudn see much a them around any more the liar

looks good bit of kit, seems to be charging at the mo

dosent seem to wana pair on a low battery so will leave it charging away for a while yet

dont pair it through bluetooth pair through the wire and socket on the ear piece it self its supposed to work better read it in the manual there yesterday incase u didin know that already i nearly made that mistake
