I did 5 things this weekend that made me feel great.

1 - I cycled somewhere between 26-30 miles on Saturday.

2 - Instead of staying in bed this morning, I got up and went, with my wife, to our weekly WeightWatchers meeting and discovered I've lost over 40Lbs (since last May).

3 - After coming home, I put my runners on, went down to the treadmill and after warmup and some jogging/walking intervals for about 20 minutes, I ran for 8 minutes continuously. The longest continuous running I've done that I can remember in a long time.

4 - At lunch, vegetables made up the biggest part of the meal. I also waited 10-15 minutes before deciding that "Yes, I am still hungry" and added some more vegetables and grilled chicken to my plate.

5 - Myself and my wife, went through our wardrobes and closets and filled 4 refuse bags with clothes that no longer fit us because they're too big. We dropped the bags off at a GoodWill depot.

If you want to change something about yourself whether it be losing weight or getting in shape, just do it.
You can come on here and discuss your issues, get advice/guidance etc. but in the end you just have to make the effort.
No one else can do it for you.

    Don't be afraid to fail.
    If you can't run, walk.
If you can't completely change your diet, just make small changes and build it up.
    But, do something.

    Thanks!

I really am seeing and feeling the benefits at the moment.
I still have quite a way to go before I get to where I want to be but I can see now that it's only really a matter of time.
