    Working on a project for college at the moment, where i have to analyse the payout policy of the above companies over the last ten years.

    I'm required to analyse;

    - The firm’s current payout policy (including the method of payout)
    - Any changes or evolution of the policy over the past number of years, reasons for any change and investor’s reaction to any change.
    - Specific factors which may influence that firm’s payout policy, in this section you are expected to draw on the theoretical models examined in class.
    - Does the firm have an expressed rationale for its particular policy?

    The problem lies in the fact that i'm limited to 1,000 words per company and I can't find any sources which would offer such broad summaries. Every bit of information i come across is on the micro level, and almost impossible to distill to the macro level.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    If you're doing this for college, isn't the point that you would write the broad summaries ? ;) If by payout you mean dividends, you'll find a lot of information in their annual reports, including justification for payout ratios.

    Hi Oafley Jones,
    I'm doing a similar project at the moment. Could you tell me where you ended up getting the information you used for it?
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Go to the companys' websites, the information you're looking for is typically available under 'Investors' or 'Shareholder Services'.

    You're not supposed to resurrect old threads, this one was four years old!
