    Technically okay, but the subjects are way too far away. Zooming out to 18mm really doesn't work when whatever you're shooting is however far away.

    You got the ISO right, 80 keeps a lot of the noise at bay, and the tripod has kept the shots nice and sharp (the H2 is a nice camera, optics are great).

    The real trick of Night Photography, though, is to take the shots at Dusk (or Dawn, but I'm never up that early:)). Your wide angle shots would then have been filled with a wonderful dark blue sky. Also, the shots are a little on the orange side and the sky is more brown than black due to the floodlights and street lights, what white balance did you use? Auto or Tungsten (also called Indoor or Incandescent)?

    Digitalbeginner is right. Night photography in the black night is easy. Good night photography is about timing, patience and luck. You can see the difference in the animated picture right here -

    However the pictures are nice. Make them a little better next time :-)
