try selling it on e-bay?? i'd imagine you wouldn't get as much on it as you would trading in an EU game but could be wrong

Thing is they probably wont even realise its a us game, so you'd get great exchange as theyd scan it as a 'new' game'....

I'm buying all my games off ebay anyway. Paid €32 for VT3 and €36 for Armored Core 4

    I want to get RR7.

I have so far in my PS3 collection

    MotorStorm
    Formula 1
    Armored Core 4
    Virtua Tennis 3
    Virtua Fighter 5
    Resistance FOM
    Full Auto 2
    FightNight R3
    NFS: Carbon
    Gengi

there is a region number on all of the boxes (1 for US/Jap and 2 for EU/Australia) for a start plus it says PAL (in small writing on the back of EU game boxes) so i'd say staff will be told to look for that straight off. plus the us barcode would be different to an EU one. but as you say they may not notice

Game have copped onto the region games being traded in and have it in small print that import games will not be accepted. Why not sell it on adverts??

You maybe right. Maybe if I offered it as a Trade for RR7 + if I gave maybe €25 extra someone might take it from me.

I recently traded in an American Nintendo DS game in GAME. I even pointed out to the guy that I had imported it, but thought that since it was region free they might accept it, and he took it no bother. Not sure if they will be so lenient with PS3 games at first, but if you gave it some time, I'd say they wouldn't mind.
