I was planning to get ps3 tomorrow but after breaking my arm i cannot grip a ps controller for 6weeks:(

After seeing the new TWoods add for Wii, i went out and picked up one and am extremely happy with gameplay and what i have bought.

can i ask for your opinions on

1.what are the best multiplayer games to have a laugh with friends bar wii sports??

    2. Is there any good 1st person shooters available??

    3. How or can we over here download old snes games from the web on to our Wii's? To get mortal kombat / streets of rage would be classic

    Cheers

    1. Can't go wrong with Warioware and ravin rabbids. There's also the surprisingly fantastic Madden. Avoid Wii play.

    2. Nope. Red Steel is alright. The godfather is getting decent reviews. Of course Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will be out at the end of the year and if the last too are anything to go by it should be better than snooze-athons Halo and Gears of War.

    3. Not really. You can download games from the shopping channel for a price but nintendo are trickling the releases. Roms from the intraweb won't work.

    1. Agree with Retr0gamer. Have Rayman: Raving Rabbids. Great fun! Oh.. and regarding Wii Play, the only reason to get it is simply because you end up paying €45 for a controller, no harm in pitching in an extra €10 for the game. Wii Play is entertaining for a short while.. a very short while though!

    2. Can't help you on this.. haven't played an FPS on Wii. I thought Call Of Duty and Red Steel were the only ones and neither have me rushing to go buy.

    3. Nope, ROM's from the web aren't supported as of yet. Possibly with some open-source development in the next year or so and a mod-chip, it may be possible but not yet anyways. Oh.. and if you are buying into the VC stuff, the SNES / N64 games require the Classic Controller add-on.
