Import Duty on Golf Clubs from States??

    I'm ordering golf clubs on ebay from the states, what kind of duty will i end up paying, around 10% maybe? thanx for the help :rolleyes:

    Customs duty will probably run to 13.5. YOu will also have to pay VAT of 21% on top of this. Their will also be a customs handling charge of €10-15 depending on who delivers it. So around 35% plus the fixed fee. Bear in mind that this is based on the landed cost, which is the purchase price plus the shipping fee.

    Do a bit of shopping around here before proceeding - price difference not as big as it used to be. Try Premier Golf (Newbridge & Red Cow) or Mc Guirks, deals are always to be had and you can ensure the right club length for your height.
