Maths 2006 paper(O)Marking getting easier?

    Has anybody else noticed that this paper was marked a little different than previous years?
    I mean questions that follow the usual format of 10marks for A parts, and 20 for B and C parts are in alot of cases being awarded:

    15 for A parts;
    20 for B parts;
    15 for C parts;

    Or

    10 for A parts;
    25 for B parts;
    15 for C parts;

    Now is it just me, or is this a new approach to maths marking to get as many people to pass as possible which will be a set standard from now on, or is it a result of the apparent "difficult" maths paper students complained about last year?

    Hopefully the former:D

    It was because it was a difficult question. Very rare on either maths paper for all the questions to be 10 20 20,.
