i cannot connect to this page.....help

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,951 ✭✭✭fdevine

You don't need to use your PS3 to register, just go to.....

    https://www.ps3registration.com

You will need your PS3 serial number though.

The PS3 registration route does not require you to enter the serial number, but I presume its communicated by the console.

Ah, so by registering with the playstation network, you are automatically signed up?

Well when I completed my PSNetwork registration in the early hours of this morning, there is was a closing message relating to the Bluray Disc offer.

Something along the lines of 1 per 'master account' and 'while stocks last'

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 536 ✭✭✭swalsh

yes but where do you put your serial no. ididn't see it come up on any screen during that process

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,951 ✭✭✭fdevine

As I posted earlier, if you are using your PS3 to register then its will send the serial number without the need for you to enter it.

If you are using a PC/laptop and internet, you may need to set up an PS account first.

If you have an existing account, enter your details and you will be taken to the PS3 registration screen, where you can input your serial number.

I registered my user name about a month ago and when I went to sign in last night there was no mention of Casino. 1 or 2 steps and I was signed in!!!! I couldn find anywhere on my sign in profile to register the console so I registered the console on the internet. Still no mention of Casino. I did get an email welcoming me to the Sony Network..

When I signed up this morning I got a little message about the Blu-Ray disc offer being 1 per master account.

    Did you get that?

    Yes i got that.

But it never said that i would be sent one....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,007 ✭✭✭Gerard_Smith

    Hmm very odd.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,016 ✭✭✭✭vibe666

same here. no mention specifically of CR, just the "1 per master account" blu-ray offer thing.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,680 ✭✭✭Skyuser

Well if it's one per master account and you register for a master account then you get the movie if your within the first 500,000. It can't be much more simple than that.

doesn't mention that you have to be over 18.

not a problem for me being a crinkly old 30, but i know a lad in the uk who just turned 17 who'd been saving for months and when he put his real DOB in whilst registering he was told he didn't qualify. :(

i'm confident that i'm in the top 500,000 given that 600,000 were sold in the euo zone in the first week and i was online and registered 10 hours after launch. can't see it being a problem, but it would have been nice to get some sort of official confirmation from sony as to a yay or nay on the offer.

ooh, 2 posts to go till 3,000. :D

I believe you should be receiving an e-mail soon to say if you were successful and if you will or will not receive a copy of the BD.

This is where I read that.

I'm sure everyone will get their Blu-Ray disc, its not like everyone who bought a PS3 registered:

    http://www.gwn.com/news/story.php/id/11982/PS3_Sells_400_Million_Across_Europe.html

"Sony also confirmed to MCV that around 150,000 consumers had registered with the PS3 Network during the two days."

It's possible you'd even get the movie if you registered today!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,115 ✭✭✭Pacifico

Still no sign of that email though!

are the serials printed on the outside of boxes, especially those on display in shops? If so what are the odds that people are registering them just to get free movies which they sell on ebay or similar? Am I the only one that thought of this (ie did sony think ahead and not put it on the outside?)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 906 ✭✭✭FuzzyWuzzyWazza

The s/n is only on the back of the console, not on the box, or even viewable through the box.
