As if that was ever going to happen. God forbid we actually had a competant police force that could manage more than one high profile game a weekend.

They will be dealing with two high profile games this weekend. The international and our match with Dundalk. ;)

Our 20 month unbeaten home league run is on the line tonight!!!!

I'll be happy enough if it's still intact by 10pm. :)

It takes a lot of effort to mobilise not one but two contingents of men to stare aggressively at crowds for over an hour and a half.

Derry Pats is live on RTE and on the web.

Happened last year, but this time it was alleged Rovers and Cardiff fans were going to meet up and go to the Bohs game together. As Rovers fans have been involved with Cardiff fans before the police imo did the right thing.

Thought Pats done well enough tonight , gonna be a tough nut for any team to crack , impressive performances from Murphy and N'do Paisley done well too after a shaky start.

Limerick 37 won tonight and are unbeaten so far! I must admit we are playing some great football, hopefully we can keep it up!

Great win for Pat's, they look as if they really mean business for the league this year and aren't just on an early-season run.

Re: Bohs and Rovers, there is no reason why the game could not have been played tonight.

Bohs - Rovers being cancelled was a joke as you said Bateman, no reason why it shouldnt have gone ahead.

Another loss for longford, missed far to many easy chances to equalie. Going to be a long long season ending in the inevitible I feel unless something dramatically changes i feel, least we are consistent though ;)

    jaysus were deadly :)

Derry had one scramble in the whole game as their chance, we had 4 or 5 shots on target.

But to beat Derry away and score from a corner .....sweet :o

Pat Fenlom is certainly working his magic up there anyway.

Our match was a dire affair, but there were 1800 at it, how many Prem games had that many?

Well there was barely 700 at Belfield last night. Wrecked my new runnners going accross the grass to the entrance.

Would it be so hard to put some signs up for the ground. Every time I go there its getting harder and harder to find.

On the match. City are looking very good with Flynny and Roy up front. Worked well together. :)

    700 at Belfield
That's a fair sized away support to be fair.

We need a striker, how many magic beans will he cost us? :p

Oddly we can afford any player in Ireland and JMC is going to buy a striker but who is good enough/available

Zayed been mentioned but tbh 2 goals in a year for Drogs is hardly a great scoring record all the other decent strikers are gone to England or about to. I would prefer to see Lynch or Cornwall get a game to see if they the player we need.
Farren and Mc Hugh live in Derry so doubt it be one of them.
    O Donovan heading to England.
    ummm.....who else is there?

No, they had 468 fans out of an attendance of 1,896.

If you take a short cut across the training pitch you can't complain when it's muddy. There's a path around it.
