I reckon there is air trapped in the system and I need to burp it out. Will the old method of starting the car with the rad cap off and the heater on full and giving the upper rad hose a squeeze sort it out?
    The car is a 96 1.4 almera.

    Ta.

Put it on your shoulder and gently rub it's back :D

Some cars have a bleed screw on one of the heater pipes but it's been a while since I've seen this. Try run it with the cap off for while and see what happens.
What is it doing that leads you to believe there is air in the system?
