because it's up to each stores manager/district manager to judge whether it's worth a midnight opening. i know my store is (thank christ i'll be out drinking instead of working ), but afaik my store is the only one in our district doing it.

you're better off just ringing tomorrow and making inquiries...

Anybody know anything about there launch date.

Have heard different stories, one says midnight thursday, but i dont thing that one is a runner. another is 7am and another is 10am. I think the 10am one maybe the best guess. But i do know that when new PS2 games where coming out xtravision had them late thursday to buy and Game where not selling until friday.

Maybe hope.

I'll give them a ring tomorrdog.

My xtravision is not doing a midnight launch 10.00am tomorrow morning, hope I can still get a copy of Bond then.

Smyths Blanch are doin a midnight thing I think. Not sure about Xtra-Vision. Harvey's are opening at 8am on Fri morning

Doubt many stores will do a midnight launch,we close at 11 on a thursday night. Our store is opening at 9am though for the launch. Probably not a good idea to stay open late around this day. Out store got hit last night at about 3am,took 6 grand worth of stuff. Idiots were too early though,no PS3's in store. Did they really think they would be lying in the store all week? They still got away with a lot of stuff though.

Got in touch with xtravision, store opens at 10am but was told be waiting about 45mins to get my hands on one, they recommend getting in early, to get the games you want as there could be limited numbers. If you buying on the day only one left in local store.

Probably worth a shot. When they rang they asked me to pick it up before Sunday, so I'd imagine Sunday and Monday would be the day they release all the uncollected PS3s so if you don't get one tonight, I'd try then.
