C&C - Standing Tall - Candle and Flame

    Hi All,

    Been busy lately but took this at the weekend in Ballina Cathedral.

    I personally like the way the flame in focus is the tallest of all. Comments and Criticism welcome and appreciated.

    Very nice slumped, good shallow dof with the candles snaking off into the distance

    I personally like the shot - the warmth of the image, colours are very deep and the glow of light sends out a very positive message.

    Waffling aside, it's not my best, but not my worst!

    Any more C&C??

    I like it! It's something I'd like to mess around with myself now that I've seen it! I probably would have been inclined to have the focus on the nearest candle to me, so it's nice to see something different compared to what I would do/expect to see.
    I gotta think outside the box more!

    Thanks - it just turned out like that. Tried to keep the rule of drawing the viewers attention into the photo.

    I like it. great colour and love that you can pretty much only see the flames.
    Would have been nice if the fof was not so tight as I think it would have looked better if you could see 2 or 3 flames in focus
