I was told last Saturday night, that Groove Armada are planning to play portrane beach (one of the beaches in Dublin) in the summer.

Can anyone confirm if this is true and also a website I could get more info from.

Wrong beach. Its more than likely the Beach party in Portrush, which is up North. http://www.thebeachparty.co.uk/

why is it exactly that there areno beach events in dublin. i can only presume it's the result of bent "no fun" laws. Not as if the demand or the beaches aren't here. The potential for a legal beach event is massive.

I'd say our sh1t and unpredictable weather may be a factor also.
