Does anyone know of a type of protein bar that's lactose free and available in Ireland? I've managed to source a lactose free protein shake but I'd like to have a bar as well.

there are plenty of lactose free protein shakes available. most bars will carry milk proteins so I don't think it will be easy to find one

I found a few on froogle that claimed to be 98% lactose free, now I'm 100% lactose intolerant :) so I'm not sure how that's going to work. I guess I can chance buying the pack of 12 and giving them to someone if they don't work out.

just as a matter of interest why don't you try making your own as it probably would end up being a lot cheaper
