The Maclise Art Society is one of the longest established art groups in Cork.

The purpose of the organisation is to promote art within its members. If you enjoy painting, or are thinking about starting to paint - then you are welcome to join this organisation.

Activities are varied throughout the year, including:

    1. A monthly (held the last Friday of every month) demonstration by a professional artist, held at the Crawford Art Gallery at 7.30pm. Members and non-members are welcome to come along and watch.

    2. Group annual exhibitions held in Cork. Members are invited to submit their work for a chance to join the exhibitions.

    3. Access to painting workshops and other artists.

There is a small annual membership fee, to cover administration costs during the year.

If you are interested in coming along to a demonstration, then please contact me.
