    Hi,

I recently bought a Vulcan 400 (I love the thing to bits!). It's really low mileage and in very good condition. I've been searching at length to find decent information (like manuals and such) about the bike.

It's a '91. The thing is, is that it's a Jap import bike. The info that I've seen on other Vulcan's is that they are 5-speed. This one has a 6-speed gearbox.

That's about all I have on it!

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. (I've scoured the interweb and I haven't the time lately to get to the shop that I bought it from....)

    Cheers,

    Alan

If the vulcan is a parallel twin then the enginr is the same as the GPZ500S

OOoh , a 6 speed Vulcan would be really sweet. Best of luck with it.

Really? Just a smaller version of the engine that is in the GPZ then? The one I have is a parallel twin alright.

Cheers! Not having much luck finding anything though! I'll probably end up having to go back to the shop I bought it from to see if he has anything...
