    ...but how do I save stuff on to a cd? Ive a lot of photos and stuff on my laptop taking up too much room and havent a clue how to save them onto a cd?

    Im sure theres eyes rolling at this request but Im useless at computers and yes Im a girl and yes Im blonde:D

    You had me at "but".

    First check and see if your laptop has a cd burner. It should be written on the front of the cd drive. It will say something like Compact disk re-writable in a small symbol.

    You can do it in a number of ways.

    The first is to use a software program which allows you to burn music CDs, data CDs or make a copy of a CD.

    An easier way is using Windows XPs builtin burning plugin. Simply copy and paste them to the CD drive once you have inserted a blank CD, then you will be given a burn option on the left hand panel. Simply click and your laughing.

    This is a free piece of software you can also use to burn data to a CD/DVD.

    It works quite well.
