Normally they are issued within a few hours, could the mail have been diverted to trash or caught by a spam filter ?

If you dont recieve it by about 5PM you should give Ryanair a ring, i've always found the staff on the phone very nice to deal with.

Yes, apparently they had problems on Friday. Their phone 'help' line sure wastes a lot of their time and money gabbling on, doesn't it!

I also booked a flight with Ryanair and did not receive an email.
As I printed the booking page with the reference number I presume that is all that I need. Actually I believe that all one needs is the booking reference.
I travelled recently with Aer Lingus and at the check in desk just gave my name and that was all they needed with my ID.

Yep, all you need is the booking reference and your id.

If you don't get an email, you can print off the booking confirmation by going into the View Flight Details section of their website. Print this off and use it just like you would have used the email.

I've noticed a lag of a few days recently when booking, always note your confirmation number before closing the browser window.

Not if you've paid for online check-in (and wish to use it) or wish to change your booking online.

You do not need an email from Ryanair to change your booking or to check in online.
