Favourite Lost Character
Cant list everyone but I think it covers the most important characters (that are still alive).
Mine was Locke but I think it is now Desmond brother!!! Locke is still up there though.

his flashback episode was the best so far this season and i reckon his/penny's story is pivotal to the overall story of lost. one of the few genuinely interesting characters on the show.

Sayid. Gets straight to the point and knows how to use force. He's the Jack Bauer of LOST

EDIT: Plus he's a lot smarter than the other Losties give him credit for.

Sayid for me. Every tv show should have a Sayid in it to liven things up. Even Fair City would be semi-watchable if there was a gun-toting Iraqi torturer in it to keep the regulars in line.

I also like Kate, Sawyer, Desmond and Jack (I know I'm in a minority with the last one though).

i voted for Jack. I know most people don't like him but he brings something extra to the show. He is a good char. And i think he is just pretending to like the others to gain their trust and ultimately info on them.

Anyway it is good to see my favourite two characters (Locke and Desmond) leading the way in the poll but I was surprised that Sawyer was so popular, I wonder why all you girls out there?

Ok Sawyer is a funny char but that is IT. He is nothing more. He does nothing except make you laugh but he brings nothing to the losties to be honest.

I can see why people like him and i do too but he is not as important as Loche/Sayid/Jack. These have skills needed for survival on the Island.

My wife thinks he's great, I cant stand him(maybe for that reason Ha!).

I voted for Sawyer.

He doesn't let emotions get in his way, he just does what he wants, and he's so mean and funny. In fairness, if he wasn't there, there would be a noticeable hole which would be pretty hard to fill.

Sawyer is HOT, funny and brave (cheesy I know but he's got it all!). But he can get annoying.

I like his character but he's probably only my favourite because he's hot!

Also like Desmond. Very interesting...

Best character by a mile is Ben. The actor saved s2 with performances that changed him from a threee-episode instantly forgetable character to one of the main ones on the show now. There's just a presence about him when he's in the scene, look at the end of 'The Glass Balerina' for an example. He was also the only good thing about the episodes at the start of s3 involving Kate, Jack and Sawyer's struggle with the others.

I find it hard to believe that people would still consider Locke to be the best character. S2 destroyed him and although he's trying to get back what he had in s1 now, he's making a bit of a balls of it.

Yeah Ben is a super actor, much like Desmond is. They both bring something really nice to the show and i love how Ben char is always so sinister. Really acts it well and he seems to suit the part brilliantly.

I'm still undecided about Charlie. He's very annoying that's for sure. But he can be really cute at times and when he's in a good mood he's funny and really quirky sort of optimisitic. Which is strange, because lately he has been a mess and is just feeling sorry for himself. But of course, he does know/think he's going to die so anyone in his case would be depressed.

Well i can't say i like him to be honest in season 3. He just does my head in.
