That made for good reading, but what was with all the question marks?

They were probably a copypaste from an email, that's your standard office email right there! Although, this one had more than its fair share of annoying comments after each factlet.

No, but some are mildly interesting... Take it easy, Conformist. However, I did note that at least one is not correct; Da Vinci didn't invent the scissors... Perhaps we could try to crack more of these "facts"?

I'm pretty sure this was proved to be false, but I can't remember where I heard so... ;)

a lot of the ones with questions marks near the end are completely false , some are just incorrect in details , among the ones I was amazed to find are correct though are this one ,

The Jiffy actually is a unit of time , although there are four variations of it and none of them is 1/100th of a second,
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiffy_%28time%29

And of all things , the Niagara falls one ,
The year was wrong though , it was 1911 ,

Ridiculous ones are peanuts in Dynamite and the Scissors being invented by Da Vinci , I was in Egypt last year in the vally of the kings and there are depictions of burials with the attendants using scissors , I dont think Da vinci was around then.
