Recorded this song the other day. Recorded it with a condender mic and guitar. I'm not sure if its finished yet probably need better vocals!

I'd really appriciate and comments! The guitar goes a bit "basey" in the last 30secs but i'll fix that!

I like. Very typical singer-songwriter, nothing very different, but well executed anyway.

i like it, the guitar sounds like the chords to the beatles - blackbird muddled up, or played differently.

    whats it about?

I liked it. A nice relaxed guitar sound that I know how to do but yet I can never do it... if ya get me. I enjoyed it, very laid back. I reckon some people might like a bit more variety in it, but me, ah, sure I like it for what it is. Well class.

honestly? you are musical and from the heart, but you are repeating one good idea over and over. you are not long song writing but have good potential, but the writing is still very "bikiniish"...

Thanks for all the replies, keep them comming!

The songs about.......thats a great question! You know when you've been up all night and your walking through your town or where ever and you not quite hungover or drun, just tired and cold. And your just quite happy and you really shouldn't be because of events the previous night, well thats it...i think!

I'm going to try something different with it soon, maybe piano, violin, jazz drums and i might change round the chorus etc!

I really like it. I'm a big metal fan and would never usually listen to stuff like this but I found it surprisingly relaxing to listen to. Kind of gave me a spiritual moment, you could say :D Well done I think it's deadly.

I like it, it's honest and true with an appealling melody. I think that the seed of a good song is there but that you need to build on it and give melodic varition and maybe some dynamics. I wonder even if a key change could work, or, dare I say, a modulation at the end! :D

It reminds of Smog, you my know him. If not you should really, really listen to Red Apple Falls.

From a performance and production point of view I'd watch your pitch a little in one or two places e.g. about 3.05. And maybe it's my download or your mp3 converter (I DO NOT trust them!!) but is everything supposed to be panned over to the left so hard? I think it could sound great if a tambourine and a bass drum came in half way, then dropped out again, then came in at the end with a nice trumpet line or/and a female choir.
