    Gah!

    How thick is the paint on it. The fact that 15% of it is going to charity prevents me from taking the p*ss out of it too much. Horrible.

    The fact the the sword is removeable is the deal clincher for me, and the White LEDs are fantastic.

    About the paint finish, from the auction:

    "Many people have asked about the actual finish of the Wii.
    I really wanted a finish that looked and felt like wrought iron and thankfully I got as close as I think could be achieved.
    This was chosen over a plain flat or gloss black as Nintendo may release an official black one
    and I really would like it's new owner to have a true one-of-a-kind. :)

    Hell, even if I only got the Master Sword and Hero's shield and a bitta blue-tack! ;) The sword and shield look the dogs dangly bits though!

    All I say is fair play to the guy who designed it - he must have put a ****load of effort into the design & development. Pretty cool idea to make some money imo...

    He didn't make the sword and shield. If you want those, just check on Ebay for them (search "master sword"), it was part of a very nice looking Twilight Princess limited edition replica pack with a soundtrack.

    Yeah I agree. This guy just painted his Wii and stuck a Zelda toy on it. Compared to the PC case mods or MAME cabinets that I've seen this is nothing. And $1000 ... that is a joke
