TV ALERT: REALITY TV, right now!

Hi everyone!

Just to let you all know....if anyone's arsing about like me all day today....REALITY TV have a 'Spooky Sunday' ALL day today, GHOST HUNT and drama's about hauntings....

If you're coming on my Leap Castle trip, this'll get you in the mood.

I was stuck on the sofa on Sunday with a sick 2 year old asleep on me. Given that neither he nor I had slept properly since for about 3 days I just stayed put and watched lots of spooky tv! Loved "ghost hunt", none of the theatrics of MH and the presenters were much easier on the eye

I agree littlebug, everyone I know with knowledge of the spritual and paranormal find the MH type shows really embarrssing. They give real genuine psychics and mediums a bad name. I must check out Ghost hunt, I don't watch many of those shows any more.

Ah we can give them a hard time all day but at the end of the day they have raised awareness of paranormal phenomenon and made it more accessable for people all over the world.

As people who deal with paranormal activity on a regular basis we need to be able to take a step back and laugh at/with ourselves ... we've go nuts if we didnt.

I was in Edinburgh last Halloween for Most Haunted live -for the laugh....and I saw what they were all *really* like....wasn't impressive! Karl is a complete pig, making comments about women there and cracking nasty mean gay jokes at David Wells, embarassing him.....they['re not nice people. My stepdads cousin works in TV in the UK and she has coffee with Yvette on a regular basis and her message to me was 'Don't watch it Sarah....its all acted, Yvette thinks is brilliant/funny that people are so gullable.' -of course she's laughing to the bank.

Stewart and Karl are responsible for all the noises.

We have to be careful not to say anything liable on here. Boards.ie is huge as we all know and has attracted legal attention in the past.

I'm a little confused though SS, I thought you were a big MH fan and had mates involved in it? (the recent Live thing in Transelvania?)

NO!!!!! There's a difference between being a fan and bursssssting to get on TV (which I am) They e-mailed me and asked me and I said 'Being on TV......lemme think.......EH YEAHHH!'

We could keep this on topic or I could explain what happened to the last person who called me that.

Anyway I think this thread has served its purpose seeing as we have a thread for the discussion of TV shows etc already. Now all we need is a mod to lock it?
