Finding work on the continent

I've got an interest in moving to the continent (France/Spain/Italy) for a few years and finding job. At the moment i'm in full time employment in developing software in Ireland. Problem is I don't have a language apart from 3 dismal years of French in secondary school. I have no qualms about ressurecting the owl french book however and trying to pick it up. I always wanted to learn a language but felt the classroom was never the place where i could learn. Anyway that aside, my real question is I suppose is it difficult for someone with only a basic grasp of say french, spanish or italian to up and move and find a semi-decent job in one of those countries. Has anyone done it here on the forums. Whats the job climate like over there. I'm not too concerned about earning loads of money. My quality of life is my main priority.

    Hi!

I'm writing from Spain. There is no work here, not even to pay you a rent.

But if you want to try... Look in Infojobs.net
