Keystoke tracking - legit reason- help?

Hi
I am being trained tomorrow on this new scanner thingy for work. we purchased through Uk and only see the maintenence guys maybe 2 times a yr

the thing is the scanner (its for scannign 100's dockets each day) came before other hardware so I will have to setup on onther terminals later and show others how tou use it


is it possible to get some software to record the keystrokes / mouse - so maybe over a numbe rof days i could revise what I was shown to have it sown pat ?

any help would be great - need to have it for tomorrow (thursday a/noon though )

khannie - sounds ideal but i dunno what would do that ?
petes - we do but like I said they are in UK, and personally think a waste of space, some one here decided to buy proteus off them = expensive crap that does nothing any one wants - runs on linux despite everything else been windows based - we use excel all for reporting /analysisng and cant export anything to it etc etc

anyways when you ask them a question takes 2 weeks for an answer. asked them to allo remote assistance on pcs in other building so could take over and show clcik by click how to do stuff- they suggested we "buy this utility" - this after a 40 grand contract
