Gunn's had a load of it on special offer so I picked some up. Anyone ever use it? I don't want to just stick it in the camera and waste it on stuff its not suitable for. Some of the stuff I'm reading suggests its for studio work only. Any opinions?

I was hoping to get the manufacter website but this is the best I could find. http://www.adorama.com/ILPFP36.html

I've used it for B&W when I had a film slr and loved it. I used it outdoors but then again I got stuff off it that I was not expecting (kind of a fluke)

Have they any of it left ? Or did you snaffle it all ? I presume it was expired or almost expired or something ?

Yeah there was still tons of it there this evening. Might have to sneak in first thing though - only bought two rolls this morning.

if you get lots of it stick it in the fridge. it stops it from ageing. all you do is take it out a few hours before shooting to let it get to ambient temp. my brother got loads of tri-x from a dutch friend in West Cork years ago who was moving back to Holland and it was about 6 years old at the time. he always kept it in the fridge and it worked perfectly for another few years as well.

All this talk about film is making me feel very nostalgic. Think I'll pick up a couple of rolls and give B&W film another go. The last time, every single shot was overexposed.
