    Expensive lens? Not needed. This was taken with a lens that you can buy for €70.

    Dont comment on much but that first shot is magnificent , well done , I too am curious about the lens ? Was it a prime and is it , ( wild guess here ... ) the famous 50mm ?

    I'm only mildly interested in the equipment you used, but would love to find out WHERE you took these. The only birds i've seen like this in ireland, especially the falcon, are the stuffed and mounted kind :)

    I used a Sigma 70-300. A lovely lens which I rarely use anymore. Anyoneone looking for a cheap lens that gives great quality I'd recommend it. I got the 100-400L since so the Sigma is resting. Though you'd need to be going to the gym to use the Canon for any length of time.

    Preilly - I took these pics in the UK last week when I went over to do 2 x photo workshops.

    Using the lens is like a workout so need to fork out for expensive gym fee's ;):D
