Need to order some batteries for TA4 and was wondering how long it took between ordering and delivery for those of you that have chosen EHobby Asia.

    Thanks

Took three working days for me. I placed the order on a Wednesday night and the package was in country on Monday morning. They are quiet fast.

my order i placed on saturday for a gbb and a few other bits was on a plane from hong kong this morning, so should be in the country tonight and hopefully to my house thursday (fingers crossed), i also placed a seperate order for a new barrel for my mp5 on sunday, which i got a shipping notice for this morning, but there was no tracking number for that so cant say where it is now

from general experience, anything ive ordered from hong kong (not just airsoft) generally takes a week or less

:D the only reason id consider getting a third one is cos theirs a good china clone of it coming out soon which would probably be around half the price [are else it wont be worth realising] so i could get another 2 spare mags for the pair i got or for around the same price i could get a third pistol with a mag :p . And it would be good to be able to 1 or 2 parts incase fullauto has gone dead on one of mine.
and a third pistol is the fastest reload ever

Scope needs a third one just in case lads, you can never be too carefull

hmmmm, the tracking website for hongkong post has said "The item left Hong Kong for its destination on 13-Mar-2007" since tuesday... should this change to show it has arrived in ireland, or does it not update once it leaves hong kong?

How would I go about ordering a couple of items from them? I don't want to end up clicking "Buy Now" and then having five seperate parcels and postages sent my way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭N.O.I.P.

If you buy them all at the same time they will combine them into 1 package, the only downside with ehobby is that they combine all the shipping costs so if you buiy 5 items that cost 15 euro each to ship your going to be paying 75 euro shipping

You're doing well. Last night I got a list together and started to buy around 10 items but it said you have reached the max number of items that can be sold from this seller. I have to wait 10 days to order more stuff.

I can only buy a max of 3 items every 10 days from ehobby!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 311 ✭✭NakedHedgehog

    Oh man. Only 3?
Okay, so to get to that point, I'd have to click on buy now then yeah?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭N.O.I.P.

if your feedback amount is less than 5 you will only be able to buy a limited amount of items you can send the guys at ehobby an email and ask to be added to their exclusion list and then you should be able to purchase al 10 items

Well ehobby are not answering any of my emails lately, I don't know what has happened to them, it almost like they just are not there. Unanswered emails and long order processing times, strange.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 311 ✭✭NakedHedgehog

You as well then. I sent them an email two/three days ago. Certainly not responding within the next working day as their mission statement claims.

I'm not sure if I should buy off them now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

i had no problems with them, order was processed pretty fast, i ordered on saturday and they shipped it monday. so ignoring the weekend, thats processed and sent within 1 day

That what I got first time I bought from them, they were very quick.

This time, I have sent emails last week and this week with no reply. I placed an order on Monday and another on Tuesday, both have yet to be sent out.

All I get off them is the automated emails.

I'll think twice before ordering from them again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

god dammit! there was a delivery notice sitting there this morning when i got up, they must have came at like 8 or 9... should be able to collect it this afternoon

my propane adapter from airsoft innovations arrived this morning too, wasnt expecting that until next week. pretty solid little thing, ill get some propane next week and test it out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭N.O.I.P.

You were in bad at 9!!! grrr I'd been on the for nearly 2 hours at that stage I really have to get a job closer to home.

If it was An Post who tried to deliver it you should be able to collect it in your local post office Run Run Now!!! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

normally i get up at 7 for college, but decided to have a lie in this morning (in the hopes that the postman would arrive before i left the house and i would get to play with my new toy :D )

i rang the sorting office already, normally it's next working day for collections, but they said i should be able to collect after 3

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 311 ✭✭NakedHedgehog

If it was an Post, you can collect it from the depot marked at around 4/4.30. I've missed three so far and have collected them same day every time. The trucks usually get back around 4ish, so leave it until 4.30 if you can.

Just an aside to this, do you pay vat on everything coming from Ehobby?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

    ssssh!

didnt get any notice of customs charges with it, so hoping there wont be any charge on it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,117 ✭✭✭Gazza22
