Just called canon Ireland to see if they would calibrate a lens I have, even though it has US warranty(this states that it would be covered by any worldwide canon repair center) but they tell me that the US warranty won't cover any repairs cost which may occur, typical Canon Ireland Wa*kers. Anyway just wondering has anyone returned a lens to the canon repair center in the US and if so, how long was the turn around time.

I purchased a 20D in America ( Royal Camera NEVER AGAIN !!) and the camera gave me a trouble after 10mths and I e-mailed canon and they tried to correct it over the phone, eventually they told me to send it to Dublin (Cant remember the name of the shop) and they failed to fix it so they then forward it to england where it was fixed under warranty

NB Just thought of it Image Supplies Dublin
