lookinf to be working here soon, for a few weeks

was reading and the best way it seems to bet to it is to get the dart to Dun Laoghaire and then get the 111 Dublin Bus.

Is this the best way, or is there another?

will be getting the train into dublin anyway, cheers for any help

The 111 will leave you with a reasonable walk.

The high frequency 145 might be a better bet, leaving you on the N11, but there is the 7 also, alternate buses on which go to Cherrywood itself.

Check www.dublinbus.ie for the times of buses.

Number 7 bus terminus for roughly half of all services is in Cherrywood itself, the 111 only goes as far as Loughlinstown park both pass through Dun Laoghaire

From the city the 46c, 145 or 84 would probably be the best option. As you are already on the train then going via DunLaoghaire would probably make more sense.

Every second 7 (displaying "Cherrywood") and all the 46c terminate just outside the entrance to the park. The 145, 84 and 45 stop on the N11 overpass (from city) and on the N11 itself (to city) which is a 5min walk from the park entrance.

The 111 and the "Loughlinstown Park" 7 turn off Wyatville Road a bit before the N11 Junction and would be a few mins further away.

If you got a quick connection at DunLaoghaire the Dart/Bus would be quicker for you but the 145 would be the most reliable.

Neither the 7 or 111 stop directly outside DunLaoghaire DART station. The 111 starts and sets down on Marine Rd just around the corner. Towards Cherrywood the 7 picks up from a stop adjascent to the station about 100m back towards the city. The 7 alsostops at the top of Marine Rd outside the shopping centre, the 111 also picks up there.

The 7 from Cherrywood does not pass the DART station, the closest stop is outside Easons on Georges St at the top of Marine Rd.
