Going to be living in limerick soon,
can people recommend a place to stay on the shannon bus route? I've been looking at daft for the last month and it doesn't have much... Expensive enough in the city centre. Also is there any places i should avoid getting accomodation?
This is for work placement and is like for 6 months

Ennis Road and Caherdavin are on the bus route to Shannon. Bus runs along Ennis road, big Dunnes there. South Cirular Route too, posh area, short walk to Ennis Road bus stops.

Surely you mean North Circular Road, The south circular road is bloody miles away up the top of Henry Street.

    Why not Shannon??

In Limerick, the best bet for Shannon is Caherdavin as the main Ennis and North Circular Roads would be the D4/6 equivalents in Limerick

Should be plenty of rental accomodation available come the end of May as LIT is located in the Caherdavin/Ennis Road area so the students renting will be finishing up for the year.

Shannon is grand but the town is on the quiet side when it comes to socialising. It would work out very expensive for the OP to try and get in and out of Limerick from Shannon.

    Clonmacken area isn't bad.

Clonmacken, Clareview, Caherdavin, Ferndale. These would be ideal area's for easy access to that route. Lots of students living around by LIT so you could look out for accomodation there. Best of luck!

if you can get somwhere in town, go for that. In the long run it'll probably work out as cheap. If you go out in town and live in raheen/caherdavin/castletroy or any of the suburbs you have the hassle and expense of getting cabs anyway and they don't come cheap! You can just stumble home instead ;-) Then get the buss from Henry st or the station and you'll be laughin!:D
