There's a big cottage industry in UK for Rover/MG etc parts.

I've got a P6 VIP, in fact its the only Irish registered one sold new in the country. You won't get anything in Ireland for them but no problem in the U.K. You'll have to join a club though.

Looks relatively solid bar the arches. How did that bonnet lip survive, or was it a fresh ding, J?

    One beautiful design IMO.

i like the colour ! to anyone whos had a hankering for a p6 i would urge you to just go and buy one, well a solid one, i have had quite a few cars in my short time but the p6 may end my never ending flick from car to car,its actually special /solid /a brilliant driver and when you sit in and close the door there are no let downs either by the v8s growl or the quirky yet almost up to date switchgear, the seats are very comfy too / suffer from night blindness just try the headlights on this!! at the price they are going for their a serious bargain ,im finally in love :)

Junkyard, your VIP is brown... weren't all VIPs the same colour, a light green, or am I mistaken?

Yeah, I thought they were all silver or light green too.

There is a light green P6 with tan roof that's been sitting in the same spot in Blanchardstown for at least 5 years. When I first saw it it looked in good shape but it's deteriorated a bit since. Tyres flat, paint faded etc. Always wondered was this a P6 VIP.

As you may know I've got a P6b my second one in two years, I'm not saying I'm and expert but i thought that VIP editions were always silver? Where is yuor P6 based as i might know a guy who can service it?

There were 47 Silver VIPs and 30 Brown ones

    P6 info here

I met a man last year at a show near Enfield who has an Irish regd 2200 registered in 77, one of the last made
