I was in the gym last night and the groin strain I've been carrying for a while got much worse. I've to give it a week or two of rest cos it's just not going away so I won't be there tonight.

Des will be to organise things and I know if I go I'll end up playing in some form so I'm gonna miss it to make sure it gets rest.

I'll be there. Probably wont play if it can be helped. I think Jules is contagiuos (sp?) stay away from him. First I got shin splints and now I am suffereing somethign awfull with my back. I swear to god its Jules' fault.

Do we need an extra body? My mate that wants to join the team might be able to make it.

Bring him along Ste - the sooner Des gets a look at the new players the better. As mentioned before, a rotation system could be used at training if there's too many players for the pitch. Those outside can be talked through tactics, drills etc.

Good to see there'll be good numbers tonight (though I am gonna take the wise step of resting up, lest Ste suddenly get casted down with a groin strain aswell).

We got 9 + an injured Mikie. Plus Des. Of those, 4 were new players, who all did well and look like they can add something to the side. Good to see at this stage.

Looking forward to the game on Sunday and we can start into pre season from next Wednesday night hopefully. We REALLY need to get the numbers down for that though. If its an eleven a side league than we should be able to get eleven down minimum to a training session, unless you're injured then if you want to play you have to train aswell unless its a matter of an important alternative, Corrie, Champions League etc. dont count.

We picked Tuesdays so it doesn't clash with Corrie.

I agree on the new lads, but I'd like to get another look at Valerio again (Valentino :rolleyes: ).

If we can add that kind of quality to the team we'll be doing well.

Keith, were them two lads mentioned in the other 'I'm interested' thread?

And, most of all I suppose, are they reliable?

Nope I hadnt told them about the forum, in fact, they didnt know where I got involved in the side! I'll let them know.

Yeah they are both definitely reliable and both 100% available Tuesday nights and training will be cool too.
