PC power problem

I'm having a problem with my pc. One minute it switches on fine, the next it wont switch on at all. It was dead for a week and i replaced the battery on the board and it booted up fine once, now its dead again. My friend reckons its the board? Any ideas?

Have you got another power supply that you can try out?
