Powerpoint corrupt file

    Can someone please help me.

    I have a presentation to give in three hours and have been making a presentation for the past week and its just gone and got fecking corrupted!!!

    I am in college at teh moment so could some generous person please pm me their email address and ill email the file to them. Its about 3megs. Maybe they could open it/un-corrupt it/repair it or someting.

    Im really desperate. I found this prog online but cant run it in college but it seems like it shoud do the job. Its at this url

    Please could someone help me or maybe give me some advice on how to remedy the situation.

    The error given is "Powerpoint can't open the file represented by ....."

    Thanks. Powerpoint version is Office 2003. Running on xp pro ed.

    Any chance you have changed the extension?

    Are you 100% certain the filename is xyz123.ppt ?

    Two option to try
    - powerpoint viewer from microsoft's web site, may have a different engine to the version of powerpoint you are using

    www.openoffice.org - better than word and excel at reading their corrupt docs so worth a shot a powerpoint too
