AMD® Live 64 X2 Dual Core 4600 vs athlon 64 fx-60 toledo 2.6ghz, 2x1MB L2

    Need to buy a new PC to run an industry specific MIPS
    simulator.

    Trying to figure out in laymans terms the speed difference
    between the two below is:

    1.athlon 64 fx-60 toledo 2.6ghz, 2x1MB L2
    2. AMD® Live 64 X2 Dual Core 4600

    The vendor suggest item 1 but dell dont stock anything like
    that so looking for something very similar in terms of performance.

    Also what difference will the live vs non live AMD chip
    make to me everyday ?

    The 4600 is usually 2.4 GHz with 512K of cache. The FX also has it's multiplier unlocked. The Live thing is fairly meaningless but there are plenty of details and marketspeak here
