It depends, how much for shipping?

That's not bad actually, especially since you can use it with other VOIP applications like MSN Messenger, SJphone, net2phone, X-Pro, X-Lite, Firefly and Eyebeam. X-Lite can be downloaded for free, and X-Pro is available free if you register with Smart 's VOIP service: www.smart076.ie

The only cheaper one of these I've seen was at Aldi last year, it was about €8-10 I think, with some free call credit.

Actually it was more like 17yoyos and the free credit required registration and purchase of additonal credit to activate the 'free' credit. To cap it all registration was with a UK site that couldn't handle Irish credit cards but cost me a fortune on phone calls.

Ironic given why I bought the phone!

Phone worked fine once I registered with Skype.

Anyone had any dealings with nexons. I don't have skype but was looking at this gateway from that site which allows you to make skype calls from your landline and even mobile.

What do people think, is this too good to be true? Or would I be better of going to Maplins and getting a skype DECT phone?

try www.voipbuster.com and use the direct call option which allows you to use your home phone. 5 c connection charge - stay on as long as you like - same for international calls. ring USA and uk numbers for the 5c.
