    The title says it all.

Where is the best place to get a HPI check done on a UK car

Are they all the same or do some have a guarantee that the information is accurate.

Autotrader do one for £25 while ebay offer s 3 status reports (basicly the same info as a HPI) for £17.

Have ebay skipped some corners in doing this offer.
And im sure AA and RAC offer their own reports too for different prices.
So in all this confusion which is the best one?

I remember what car magazine doing a survey on all these guys and not sure which one was the best?

Haven't used these people but they are supposed to be very comprehensive in the checks they do. They are also part of Norwich Union so they are pretty creditable.

I've used http://www.autocheck.co.uk/ its pretty good.

£19.99 for a single car check or £24.99 for up to 5 cars. Includes HPI check and has insurance policy included.

Cheaper options are available but often don't include HPI.

    Thanks,

See thats something i dont get that others offer the same thing for a much lesser price. Just feels that if you go with the cheap option that the check isnt as comprehensive.

The following is an irish site which offers to do a check on a reg number. There is a free option where you can see some basic information. May be useful if you need to know if the reg is legit.
