Just curious does anyone listen to G-funk hip hop, this used to be a preference of mine in hip hop, and started listening to it again recently, Doggystlye, Deathrows greatest hit etc.

Personally I think its great and is well worth a listen still to this day, yes since then I've opened up to many different types of hip hop but still like to go back to the G-Funk era every now and then.

    Anyone one feel the same??

Might as well turn this to a Classic G-funk album tread as well, comments etc.

Still love to listen to G-Funk. Warren G was defo top of the game in this genre, so many classic tracks just to sit back and blaze up

Regulate - possibly the best example of G-Funk brilliance

Yeah regulate is a great song, but there are plenty other songs that define the sound. Real Muthaphucking G's by Eazy-E has a Savage G-funk Beat.

Good track as well!! I think G-Funk still influences some rap tracks today. Check out the link I posted in the forum for The Game "Why You Hate the game". I can't get enough of this song and there's definitely some G-Funk understyling in it.

Listened to the Dogg Pound's debut a while back pretty heavily, some nice stuff from Kurupt.Warren G's work has always been underrated imo but other then that not really.
