This hand annoyed me afterwards. Should I have shoved on the turn? I had him on something like A 10 clubs or QJo. The way he was playing I felt sure he'd raise me on the flop with AcQc or JcQc. If he had AQo I felt I was paying him off. Its not the drawing out that irks me but the way I played the turn and subsequently paid him off. Not much point playing small ball if you fulfill their implied odds for them i suppose. With the outs he had, my turn bet was barely pricing him out i think. meh. Are most shoving the turn here or at least betting alot more? As played does anyone find a fold or check call or any other river play? I am a pay-off wizard as Phil Laak would say lol

You think $9 is enough to price out AcQc on a Tc Kc 7x board? Can you see yourself folding this?

Especially if you are planning on donating your stack if he hits!

Yeah I know(technically he was just priced out if i were not to pay him off lol)- I just didnt put him on that or QcJc the way he had been playing his hands in position. I figured he was probably on a club draw or maybe had caught a bit of the board so I gave him 2.5 to 1. When he reraised I suppose I knew he had it but had to pay him. I am a wizard after all. What do you bet on the turn here?

I would have went all in on the flop, unless justar was a complete idiot he would have folded, I mean the best he could have had was 3 10's, or 3 7's or 2 kings.

no you sir are an idiot, why in the name of god would you want to scare off nearly every calling hand possible with top set,if he gets lucky then so be it but dont go pushing in to win a fiver which doesnt even buy you a pint with the exchange rate

No personal abuse Trippie, criticise the hand not the player.

It wasn't really part of my masterplan at the time to get him to fold on the flop. The amount bet on the turn and subsequent pay-off on the river are what I'm looking for advice on more than the flop action
